Future House

Nothing new here, but it’s very pretty nonetheless.  A good idea to mix up the wallpaper, but keep the containers a uniform white.  Lovely and easy DIY job.

This wallpaper is everywhere but I still love it.  I also really like the storage solutions here, with the shelf, hooks and Ikea shoe boxes.  I would never be able to keep the hanging coats and jackets so minimal (this is Scotland) but I love the thought of being able to hide my (many) shoes away as soon as I come in the door!

Oh I love all this!  It isn’t a paint colour I’d necessarily choose, but I think it works well.  What I really love, though, is the glass light, the wooden dining table, the white Eames chairs, and the white sideboards.

I do not like the stripy wall, or the cushions, but I really like this mirror, the pendant lamps, and the big plant in the terracotta pot.

That’s a couple of kitchens I’ve seen with differently coloured cupboard and I’ve decided I really really like it.

Oh my!  These 1950s wallpapers are right up my street, especially the dandelion clocks.

This is a lovely little bedside table.  I don’t keep much in mine so this would be perfect. I like how simple and functional it is.

It’s so important to have a lovely entrance to your home.  I would love something like this.  The white floors, the Scandi sideboard, the picture ledge… I even like the wonky angle of the rug!

Oh my word, this is lovely isn’t it?  I think you’d need all white accessories (or black?) to keep the cupboards the main focus, but I’d certainly be happy cooking in this kitchen.

Oooh, lots to admire here.  Of course there’s the beautiful grey couch with the yellow (orange?) throw, but also the navy walls, pendant light, wooden floors and the way they’ve created the corner dining space. Love it.

I love black and white bathrooms with some bright accessories.  The orange works really well here.  Shame about the print, not sure about it at all.
